This time, Miss Info from Hot 97. Don't put your speakers too loud if your ears are sensitive. LOL
It's finally here.
You can easily say Floyd's fights are the most anticipated for 2 reasons. Either his fans want to see him outclass a fighter with his flamboyance or people want that next dude to be the dude to give Floyd the knockout blow. Castillo couldn't do it, Zab Judah couldn't do it, Legendary Oscar De La Hoya couldn't do it. So why does Ricky Hatton have a shot?
Ricky Hatton is coming off a KO destruction of Jose Luis Castillo whom Floyd fought twice with one fight being a disputed decision to Floyd and the 2nd being a lob sided victory for Floyd. I've never been a big Hatton fan to begin with, but I have noticed the drastic change in his speed and power. His punches come at a lot of different angles which can throw Floyd off. He also throws at times 4-5 punching combos which can also give Floyd a little trouble being he waits and times the punches when they come at a 1-2 combo. Hatton though will need to pace himself and set up for the later rounds because that's when Floyd shows up. Hatton shouldn't try going for a KO blow early in the fight because it's not going to happen. Similar to Miguel Cotto, he has to pick his shots and see what punches in the beginning of the fight are the most accurate through Floyd's almost unbreakable defense. Hatton's body shots should play a key role as well as Floyd tends to lean back (no pun intended)with shoulders up. That'll be a great opportunity for Hatton to throw a 1-2 combo.
As for Floyd, on paper he "should" win this fight. He's superior in ring ability can frustrate Hatton with his jab keeping him away to set up for those lightning speed combos. This fight though will be a lot harder than the De La Hoya fight simply because Hatton keeps coming. Oscar tired out by the 9th round and that's when Hatton can explode with an array of power punches.
I've been back and forth with a lot of people about who's winning this fight. But I'll say what I've told everyone thus far. I want Hatton by KO, by Floyd Mayweather will get a well earned 12 rd decision to win the fight. Regardless it should be a great fight Saturday Night.
Here's a video of the final press conference:

In a recent blog, ESPN interviewed Light Heavyweight Champ Bernard Hopkins about Saturday's showdown & Ricky Hatton's chances to defeat the pound for pound best.
"Hatton's a dangerous guy because he's hard to keep him off you," Hopkins said. "I don't think I've seen Floyd fight where he fought a guy who came with rapid punches, that had some sting on them, top to bottom, angles, and an energy level staying what it was in the first through to the eighth, ninth and 10th rounds. Ricky Hatton, I never seen the man get tired. I believe Mayweather's style of catching and baiting -- you catch a man and you bait them in -- that's not going to work, like it did on many other fighters, against Ricky Hatton. Why? Because if you throw that many punches in rapid fire, it's hard to come back with one, two, or three shots. It works great against one- or two- or three-punch guys, because you can time that. But he's non-stop, Hatton. So you got to time five punches compared to one or two. That's going to be the difference in this fight as think as time goes on."
My look at Saturday's fight is coming up...
If this is anywhere as funny as the original it'll be nothin' short of a classic.
For those who aren't familiar with the name Ralphige, he's the guy you got to to get your favorite rapper, singer, or even Pro Wrestler cranked called. Here's him calling Chris Brown's manager pretending to be Daddy Yankee. Too fuckin hilarious...
Holla at me in a couple weeks...Stay Tuned!!!

I read about this earlier in the year but put it aside thinking this would never helm. But September '08 looks like the release date of the Clive Barker classic Hellraiser. Supposedly Barker is overseeing the project with Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury writing & directing the movie.
The original movie was about a man and wife who move into an old house and discover a hideous creature - the man's half-brother, who is also the woman's former lover - hiding upstairs. Having lost his earthly body to a trio of S&M demons, the Cenobites, he is brought back into existence by a drop of blood on the floor. He soon forces his former mistress to bring him his necessary human sacrifices to complete his body... but the Cenobites won't be happy about this.
At this point Willis & Cabrera needed to go elsewhere, and where not better than Detroit with Pudge?? Bosox & Yanks better be careful...
The Florida Marlins and Detroit Tigers have agreed in principle on a trade that will send Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis to Detroit for key prospects, sources told ESPN's Peter Gammons on Tuesday.
The Tigers would send outfielder Cameron Maybin, pitcher Andrew Miller, catcher Mike Rabelo and minor league pitchers Eulogio De La Cruz, Dallas Trahern and Burke Badenhop to the Marlins.
Wow...this is insane. I got no words but condolences to family and friends. Unbelievable.
Pimp C, real name Chad Butler -- and one half of the rap duo UGK, was found dead in a hotel room this morning. He was 33.
L.A. County Fire responded to a 911 call at the Mondrian Hotel, located on trendy Sunset Strip in Hollywood. They arrived to his sixth floor hotel room to find him dead in bed.
UGK is best known for appearing on the Jay-Z track "Big Pimpin'" in 2000, and more recently with Outkast on the song "International Player's Anthem (I Choose You)."
Reports are surfacing about West Coast legend Spice 1 being shot and in critical condition. Word is he got shot once on the chin and in the chest. His management claims he'll pull through regardless of his condition.
I don't know if this is going to be the new trend, but looks as if Lupe wants to hang up the mic (at least recording wise) after his 3rd album appropriately titled L.U.P.End. With his second album set to release Dec 18th he told Pitchfork that he's tired of the entire process of getting an album out and would much rather perform.
My question is...who is going to want to see you perform 5 years after your last album? You look at groups like Wu Tang & A tribe Called Quest who've had successful tours mainly playing their older music, but only because of the strong fan base that took years to build. Is Lupe's catalog that thorough that he can pack a venue 5 years from now?
What kid subjected their grandmother to that smut??? LOL
I think this album has gotten more negative feedback from it's own group members than the obvious fans expecting an Enter the 36 Chambers pt. 2
Nocando vs Franco
In commemoration to MJ's classic album Thriller, the pop singer is releasing a 25th Anniversary disc with bonus cuts that didn't make the album.
On top of that he's enlisted Kanye West, Will I Am, & Akon to remix songs like Wanna Be Startin Somethin, Billie Jean, & Thriller. This I gotta hear.
The crazy shit I'm also hearing is that the Jacksons are planning a reunion tour next year!!! Get your $$$$ right, tickets could possibly be someone's mortgage.
