Wow...Jimmy Fallon?? Really??...Hmmmm

But hey, I can't wait to see what Conan has in store for the 11:30pm crowd.

I miss the Masturbating Bear (no homo)

But c'mon...Jimmy Fallon???

There's much debate about letting Leno leave NBC etc., but right now let's just concentrate on Jimmy. He's the perfect successor to Conan and should have just as big an audience when he takes the reins. Fallon is one of those great underrated performers. This should be the right milieu for him.

Yesterday it was revealed that Israeli actress Ayelet Zurer had landed the female lead opposite Tom Hanks in Columbia Pictures' "Da Vinci Code" prequel Angels & Demons. Now, we've learned that Ewan McGregor is in talks to join the film as well.

In the thriller, based on the Dan Brown best-seller, McGregor is set to take on the role of a powerful Vatican insider who assists Langdon.

The story centers on religious art scholar Robert Langdon (Hanks), who once again finds himself entangled with powerful forces with ancient roots: the Illuminati -- the most powerful underground organization in history -- and the Catholic Church.

Ron Howard is directing from an Akiva Goldsman script.

Freesshhhh!!! Can we get another DITC project please?

WOOOW! I've been telling people Cotto fighting Oscar would be great for Cotto's stock and a "The" fight for Oscar to leave on. Obviously this is pending Cotto's upcoming fight against Antonio Margarito in July and Oscar's next 2 fights with Steve Forbes & the senseless rematch against Floyd Mayweather.

"If I beat Mayweather, who is the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, my following fight has to be with one of the best and it's no secret that Miguel Cotto is one of the best in the world," says De La Hoya

This Christmas is gonna be insane!!!

I posted the trailer a couple months back, but this is sorta a sneak peak of the movie which drops in July.

The knockout from Edison Miranda earlier this year against David Banks was already crowned KO of the year...until last night

This was at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood FL. Ridiculous...

Just when you thought the saga was over...

People don't give Pharrell enough credit for the melodies he comes up with. This is from a couple years ago.

Looks like Scientology Tom is slowly bringing his adopted son with Nicole Kidman Connor Cruise to the big screen with a small non speaking role in Will Smith's drama Seven Pounds. He'll be playing a younger version of Will Smith. The movie will reunite Will with the producers and directors of Pursuit of Happiness (which I highly recommend). The story revolves around Will's character changing the lives of seven strangers.

It has a release date of Dec 12th 2008.

Bobby V Leaves DTP?

Author: RL

I think this was inevitable. I've always been a Bobby Valentino fan. That slow down single still crushes chicks man lol. But he'll definitely see bigger and better pastures.

R&B singer Bobby Valentino has left Disturbing Tha Peace/Def Jam for the independent route. According to Billboard.com, the departure was amicable.

Valentino, who plans to release a six-track EP, followed by a full-length studio album, called his time at DTP a
"great stepping stone and learning experience. I look at this as my going off to college. It was time for me to step out on my own and show the world who Bobby Valentino the artist really is."

LOL...I mean c'mon man. Take the L and start over. The Pats reportedly are trying to trademark "19-0" regardless of their devastating loss at this year's Super Bowl to the NY Giants. They actually were beginning to trademark 19-0 prior to facing The Chargers.

What a bunch of douches...

Being that KRS has dropped the Self Construction track featuring a who's who (sorta)in Hip Hop today such as Nelly, Busta Rhymes, Method Man, Talib Kweli, & more.

I figured I'd put up the OG's of these songs being the East Coast's Self Destruction & The West Coast's We All in the Same Gang that were released in the late 80's-early 90's.

Self Destruction - East Coast All Stars

We All in the Same Gang - West Coast All Stars

On a funny note, check Phillip Michael Thomas' short lived music career with this video:

Wow...talk about really getting the proverbial "boot". The Knicks organization have banned Isiah from contacting any of his former players which is apart of a reassignment agreement (huh?).

Being a Heat fan, I'd really would like to see the Knicks flourish. I miss the Heat vs Knicks rivarly.

Looks like this movie is picking up a lot of steam as of late. Filming begins today and word is the special effects people have already molded Nana's head for a "specific" scene (Nice!). Not much has been released about the actual plot, but it is said that it will focus a lot on Jason's character as the original 1st film was a "whodunit" style of film with Jason following in the numerous sequels

The film's release date is set for the obvious February 13, 2009

I feel like I've been waiting for this for about 2 years (probably because I have). Here's a look at new pics surfaced from the upcoming Clone Wars which chronologically takes place between Episodes 2 & 3 of Star Wars.

Saw this on Illmind's blog page. Is this supposed be one of the joints on the long awaited MCA album?
This album needs to drop already!!!

Based off his graphic novel. Should be ill.

Synopsis:

It is the story of a former rookie cop who returns mysteriously from the dead as the Spirit (Gabriel Macht) to fight crime from the shadows of Central City. His arch-enemy, the Octopus (Samuel L. Jackson) has a different mission: he's going to wipe out Spirit's beloved city as he pursues his own version of immortality. The Spirit tracks this cold-hearted killer from Central City's rundown warehouses, to the damp catacombs, to the windswept waterfront... all the while facing a bevy of beautiful women who either want to seduce, love or kill our masked crusader. Surrounding him at every turn are Ellen Dolan (Sarah Paulson), the whip-smart girl-next-door; Silken Floss (Scarlett Johansson), a punk secretary and frigid vixen; Plaster of Paris (Paz Vega), a murderous French nightclub dancer; Lorelei (Jaime King), a phantom siren; and Morgenstern (Stana Katic), a sexy young cop. Then of course, there's Sand Saref (Eva Mendes), the jewel thief with dangerous curves. She's the love of his life turned bad. Will he save her or will she kill him? In the vein of "Batman Begins" and "Sin City," "The Spirit" takes us on a sinister, gut-wrenching ride with a hero who is born, murdered and born again.

I should've watched this fight instead of HBO's snoozefest Saturday, but I'll get back to that in a minute. George St Pierre simply dominated Matt Serra this Saturday to be crowned the Welterweight Champ for the 2nd time. Not to say I told you so, but...basically. Serra had nothing for GSP as he was out wrestled and mauled by GSP until about 10 knee shots landed on Serra ribs for the ref to stop the fight.

Now on to Bernard Hopkins vs Joe Calzaghe

This is your classic example of a fight being built up to high expectations only to be a fight parallel to a ESPN Wed Night Fights undercard. Hopkins managed to score a knock down from a straight right hand that threw Calzaghe off balance. But Bernard never capitalized on the knockdown and began throwing punches and hugging Calzaghe liked he owed him his life. Calzaghe did what he could and stayed busy throughout the fight landing at a higher percentage but never hurting Bernard. The fight ended in a controversial split decision (some "brilliant" judge scored the fight 114-113 for Bernard) making Calzaghe the new Light Heavyweight Champion of the world and still undefeated.

With Bernard now out of the way, talks of a fight later this year between Calzaghe & Roy Jones have been brought back to the surface. Look for that fight to be made soon.

As Far as BHop, hang it up my dude. You've had an incredible career.

I found this kinda funny though LOL. Saw a few of these floating around.
