This isn't a direct sequal from the grotesque version that came out a few years ago.
Here's the updated plot:

"The Incredible Hulk" kicks off an all-new, explosive and action-packed epic of one of the most popular superheroes of all time. In this new beginning, scientist Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) desperately hunts for a cure to the gamma radiation that poisoned his cells and unleashes the unbridled force of rage within him: The Hulk.

Living in the shadows--cut off from a life he knew and the woman he loves, Betty Ross (Liv Tyler)--Banner struggles to avoid the obsessive pursuit of his nemesis, General Thunderbolt Ross (William Hurt), and the military machinery that seeks to capture him and brutally exploit his power.

As all three grapple with the secrets that led to The Hulk's creation, they are confronted with a monstrous new adversary known as The Abomination (Tim Roth), whose destructive strength exceeds even The Hulk's own. And on June 13, 2008, one scientist must make an agonizing final choice: accept a peaceful life as Bruce Banner or find heroism in the creature he holds inside--The Incredible Hulk.

Here are some still photos from the movie:

NEW YORK -- Alex Rodriguez and the New York Yankees have agreed to the outline of a record $275 million, 10-year contract, a deal that potentially would allow him to earn millions more if he sets the career home run record.

The amount of the guaranteed money was revealed by a person familiar with the negotiations who spoke Thursday on condition of anonymity because the deal hasn't been finalized. A-Rod and his wife met Wednesday in Tampa, Fla., with brothers Hal and Hank Steinbrenner, but the parameters of the agreement were set in place last weekend.

Bonds HR record is a wrap. A Rod will crush it in under 7 years if that. Now all the Yanks need is a little thing called "Pitching". The Marlins have Cabrera & Dontrell on the market as Boston keeps their eye on Cabrera with the possibility of Mike Lowell jumping ship to the Yanks. Where would that leave Dontrell? Possibly in pin stripes???

SAN FRANCISCO -- Barry Bonds, baseball's home run king, was indicted for perjury and obstruction of justice Thursday and could face prison instead of the Hall of Fame for telling a federal grand jury he did not knowingly use performance-enhancing drugs.

The indictment, culminating a four-year investigation into steroid use by elite athletes, charged Bonds with four counts of perjury and one of obstruction of justice. If convicted, he could be sentenced to a maximum of 30 years in prison.

Regardless of whether or not he goes to prison, you might not see Bonds hit the Hall of Fame at least in our lifetime...

Entertainment Weekly has revealed four new posters for Fox's "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," which will have a two-night premiere on Sunday, Jan. 13 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) and Monday, Jan. 14 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), the show's regular time period.

Again facing relentless Terminators that will stop at nothing until 15-year-old John Connor (Thomas Dekker), the future leader of the resistance, is eliminated, Sarah Connor (Lena Headey) stops running and starts fighting back against fate and the machines that are out to get her son. The show also stars Sumnmer Glau as John's classmate, the fearless, otherworldly Cameron; and Richard T. Jones as FBI Agent James Ellison.

I'll wait to see the first show On Demand to give you my thoughts. Poster is fresh though.

Looks like Mike is tired of the fake scripts leaking online about Transformers 2, which is set for a June 26th 2009 release date. Here's what he plans to do:

"One thing I do know is I know how to screw them up more," said Bay. "We're going to leak a lot of false information all over the place. I now know their game. They're going to get a lot of script treatments that they think are going to be the script. They will never see the script. We've got scripts and treatments written up that we're going to leak. No one's going to know."

It's not a bad idea actually. Just like wrestling, I get tired of finding out what happens before I'm about to watch or even pay to watch. I miss the surprise factor.

DJ Neil Armstrong of NYC's First Platoon crew shows the basics to NBA rookies Durant & Law during a rookie photo shoot.

D Wade made his return lastnight to a standing ovation coming off the bench for Penny Hardaway. Though the rest of the team looked lathargic for most of the game, Wade surprisingly looked quick and was hitting some jumpers early on. Miami took another L though to the now 1-8 Sonics led by rookie Kevin Durant.

At times it looked as if the Heat were making a run being that they were down 21 points during the 3rd quarter, but the Heat supporting cast couldn't sustain Seattle's onslaught of 3's and dunks by Durant.

The season is still early, so now with Wade back let's see how everyone can co-exist.

Riley told ESPN there might be a major shakeup with the team:

Here's a first look.

It looks as if Jada has officially signed a deal with Roc A Fella Records. There had been discussions of him goin to Def Jam for some time already. I guess I wasn't buggin seeing Jada throw the "Roc" up in the Roc Boys video.

Let's see how this turns out.

Jay-Z scores his 10th No. 1 album on The Billboard 200, as "American Gangster" (Def Jam) debuts on top this week after selling 425,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The rapper thus ties Elvis Presley in second place for the most No. 1 albums on the chart; only the Beatles have had more, with 19.

The more I listen to this album the more I like it.

Success joint: Jay > Nas terribly...

Looks like Pat is pretty salty about the Heat's 1-6 start along with a blowout lastnight against low scoring Charlotte Bobcats. Here's what Riley said about his team's lack of effot:

"Me? Play. I guarantee you I should suit up. I'd play better than some of them right now," Riley said Tuesday night. "I guarantee it. I swear to God. With an old hip and 62 years old and I can't see, I'll play better than some of my guys tonight. Come on, they were pretty bad."

Everyone is talking about Wade's return making a difference. But how much difference will he make? There's no supporting cast to follow Wade's lead.

Also word got out that Riley is looking at Stephon Marbury after the Knicks agreed to buy out his ridiculous contract. Riley claims he can tame Marbury and have him function with the team (huh???). The desperation of this team is killing me by the day.

I saw the trailer some time ago. This doesn't even deserve to be in my hard drive (pause).

ESPN.com has reported that legendary trainer Emmanuel Steward & Jermain Taylor have parted ways after Taylor's devastating loss to Kelly Pavlik back in September. Ozell Nelson, who is Jermain's assistant trainer and father figure, made the decision to severe ties Between the former champ and Steward.

Emmanuel told ESPN, "I talked to Ozell. We have a very good relationship, but he said he may try to [train Taylor] himself. I got no problem with that," Steward said. "If he wanted me to do it, I would do it. He said he might try to do it himself. It's not a bad decision. I'm real fine with it."

With Steward training Kermit Cintron now (one of the Welterweight champions) and the recognized Heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, Steward claims he would need JT to train right now to get him in automatic mode for the rematch but that JT won't do it.

You want my prediction for the rematch????

Pavlik in 5!!

Really good interview.

Coming off of Cotto's victory this past Saturday Night the obvious question that's popping up now is, "Who's next???"

The Welterweight division is without a doubt the most competitive of all the divisions in boxing now. Just off the jump you have:

Floyd Mayweather (a Welterweight champion)

Paul Williams (a Welterweight champion)

Kermit Cintron (a Welterweight champion)

Ricky Hatton

Miguel Cotto (A Welterweight champion)

Antonio Margarito

Oscar De La Hoya

So which fight makes sense for Cotto come Spring time? Here's where the tangled web forms.

Cotto initially had a fight set against former Welterweight champion Antonio Margarito but was turned down for a fight against Paul Williams (which in turns he lost). Being that Margarito lost that set up the mega fight between Cotto & Mosley.
Cotto now is looking for big money which could be the case if he faces the winner of Hatton vs Mayweather next month (which likely won't happen).

Another name that has been thrown around is Oscar De La Hoya as he's looking for a big fight May 3rd at Dodger Stadium. Cotto at 1st was the main candidate for that super fight but due to Oscar's wife being from Puerto Rico she insisted that Oscar not fight him (whatever...).

So now Margarito's name is being thrown back in as Cotto's next opponent, but Miguel doesn't seem to care for it as per his interview with ESPN:

"Margarito had his chance," Cotto said. "He could have fought me in June. He could have fought me tonight. He preferred Williams. Now he can wait his turn." says Cotto. Paul Williams is also coming up in discussions, but nothing will be cemented as he's fighting Kermit Cintron Feb 2nd.

As of right now Top Rank are pushing for a Magarito vs Cotto fight in the Spring regardless of Cotto's feelings towards it.

2008 is already shaping up to be an eventful year in boxing.

News has surfaced that Kanye West's mother Dr. Donda West died Saturday night in LA. No word as of yet to how she died has been released. She was 58.

My condolences go out to Kanye and his family. I couldn't wish that loss upon any man or woman.

Cotto Prevails!!!!

Author: RL

In what had the making of fight of the year didn't disappoint to say the least. Both fighters came with their "A" game and went all out. Cotto landed the harder cleaner shots that seem to effect Mosley. Half way through the fight Cotto looked hurt but would sneak in combos and hard right hands to the body turning the tide of the fight. Cotto won by a close unanimous decision. Shane Mosley fought a hell of a fight and took Cotto to the limit. He showed a lot of class and didn't argue the scorecards. An entertaining fight all around.
